Latin American Spanish Subtitling
Professional Latin American Spanish Subtitling Services Argentina
Spanish subtitling for all your audiovisual productions.
Companies trying to reach Hispanic-American audiences with their audiovisual productions, have to deal with different forms of regional variations. Spanish varieties usually follow the same written structure, but the spoken language has numerous differences in pronunciation and vocabulary, depending on the region.
Acknowledging their existence is key to a successful content localization. This is why an experienced translation company is essential when creating content aimed at Spanish speakers.
At HLA we translate into 100+ languages, but our strong regional focus is on American and Latin American languages. For audiovisual related services such as subtitling, dubbing and voice-over, we specialize in all varieties of Spanish, including international, and Brazilian Portuguese.
No matter where the target audience is located, subtitling a production is always a good decision. It adds value to the content and makes it more accessible to a wider audience, including foreign-language speakers, individuals with a hearing problem, and anyone who can't watch a video with sound. Whether it is an institutional video, a TV series, motion picture or documentary, our subtitling services will engage foreign audiences by conveying the originally intended meaning in a way that is easily understood.
Subtitles are usually designed for viewers who can hear but do not understand the language in the video (or, for some reason, need to mute the sound). Captions on the other hand, are designed in the original language for viewers who cannot hear the audio in the video.
We work with the latest technology, and we pre- and post-process files according to each project’s needs. We can also use automation tools to speed up caption creation in the original language of the audiovisual content, allowing us to process larger volumes in less time and to speed up the translation processes, if needed.
These are some examples of what our Spanish video subtitling services may include:
Transcription
We transcribe audios and videos to make the content available as text. This can be automated to process larger volumes. The transcribed text can be then translated into all varieties of Spanish, including international.
Captioning
Captions are created in the original language to make the content accessible for individuals with a hearing problem or if, for some reason, the sound needs to be muted. Captions can be created from scratch or from a transcribed file of the source text by setting the timecode.
Spanish Subtitling
We create subtitles in Spanish to make the content available for Hispanic and Latin American audiences. These can be created from scratch or from a translated, transcribed text by setting the timecode.
Subtitles Translation
We can translate subtitles previously created into Spanish. Text is translated; line breaks, metrics and timecodes are adjusted to the destination language.
Subtitles Post-production
Once the subtitles or captions are created and finalized, these can be embedded to the original video (also known as burnt-in) or delivered as separated files. When embedding subtitles to a video, we can take your production to the next level and adjust the graphics and aesthetics of the text by adjusting the font, size, color, position on screen, and more.
Automation
We are able to automate some of the previous services with the incorporation of specific software for caption creation and machine translation. This, with the combination of specialized reviewers, can result in a faster turnaround time when providing captions, subtitles and video processing.
From an audio or video file we can produce a transcription file, subtitle files and/or edited video files with subtitles burnt-in or by tracks in different languages. We pre- and post-process files based on the project needs.
